Simply put, I found Bedrock Granite to be head and shoulders above its competition. In planning my installation of granite countertops, I met with 6 different granite companies. None left me with the confidence and positive feeling that I had with Bedrock. The countertops are installed & look great. But more than that, it was about the people at Bedrock. Mary was very patient in the selection process. And, it was a pleasant surprise to find that both owners Joe & Bert would be at my installation to make sure all was done correctly. In addition, I had the desire to use a cast iron under-mount sink rather than a stainless steel sink. The other companies that quoted the job only wanted to use the stainless steel type and could offer me only limited direction with regard to my cast iron choice. Once again, Bedrock came through and connected me directly with their plumber Scott who did a perfect job installing the sink. In addition, they handle all aspects of the job including tear out of your old countertops, installation of new, and the plumbing. My wife and I recently bought our first home and Karen wanted a peninsula in the kitchen. Now it already had granite in it, and it looks great, and of course we wanted the counter-top to match. Our first stop was The Home Depot. Well lets just say we walked out of there feeling our peninsula idea might not come to fruition because we were told they had a $1500 minimum on all their granite. That is a lot of money for a piece of granite 5’ x 3.’ One day, while driving through Norton, I passed Bedrock Granite. Then decided to give them a try. The woman in the showroom was helpful and told me she could work with me on the dimensions I needed. I left with a sample of what looked like our granite. It was not a match. A couple days later Karen and I returned and another saleswoman brought us out to where the granite is on display. She found us the granite we needed. After a disastrous experience with another company that we were using through a plumbing supply company, I happened to stumble on the Bedrock website. We purchased a small vanity counter and not only was the price almost $300 less, the quality was much superior. Kevin and Joe treated us as if we were their best customers and we did not even spend that much money there. Absolutely wonderful! From the initial quote to picking out the perfect slab of Marinace Verde to talking about the layout, working with you guys was fun and easy. Just a note to let you know how happy we are with your company and with the service we received. We had been looking into granite countertops for a few months and had gone to a few granite places in Rhode Island, a local kitchen place in North Attleboro and of course, Lowes and Home Depot. We were really not happy with any of the places or with the service/knowledge of the sales people. We were told of Bedrock Granite from another contractor who had not used you but knew of you. We went into the new Plainville store and were greeted by Kevin Raposo. He was incredibly friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. Kevin pointed out some popular options and took the measurements I had and gave us a quote on a few styles immediately. He explained the sink options, the faucet options and told us that depending on which sink we purchase that the project could probably be done without any seams. We left there with much more knowledge than we started with along with about 5 granite samples. Kevin even gave us a huge piece of Ubatuba, which was the one we were leaning toward. He even carried them out to our truck. We went back in a few days later and booked the date for the template to be done, the date to view the piece of granite and the installation date with Kevin. He gave us the final price with the under-mount sink, countertops, backsplash, etc.. Kevin also told us that they would install the countertops and then do another measure of the backsplash height to make sure it met as close as possible with the tile above.

When Joe LaPalme came to do the template he was also extremely nice and knowledgeable and let me know step by step what he was doing and what they would do on the install day. He was just fantastic and assured us that no seam would be needed with the sink we chose. The next night we went to the Norton store to view the piece of granite and were greeted immediately by Joe and he took us directly to the granite that was put aside for us. Everything went super and Joe said he will see us next week.

On the day of the installation Joe, Kevin and another installer showed up. Both Joe and Kevin had told us they would be there for the install and were true to their word. The install was done expertly and as told Joe did measure the height for the backsplash after the countertop was in and then called in the measurement. They then went to pick up the pieces. After all was done Joe even did some patch work on the wall next to the backsplash that was damaged during the removal of the old backsplash. They even gave us a beautiful cutting board made from our granite for our kitchen. When they were done they cleaned up, vacuumed everything and even put all the drawers back into the slots to finish the job completely. This job was done with great professionalism, expertise and friendliness. I doubt that we could have received all this by any other company.

I'm writing this letter in recognition of the great job that was done fabricating and installing granite countertops in my kitchen. The level of professionalism and attention to detail that was given is much appreciated and not overlooked. The true test of a rock solid company is how a problem is handled, and in my case Bedrock demonstrated their commitment to a quality job.
